A Predicted Energy Assessment (PEA) is simply the predicted SAP and CO2 rating of a property yet to be built. The calculations are taken from the design stage and allow you to sell a property off-plan.
Remember, you will still need a full EPC and Recommendation Report once the property is completed to replace the PEA and to provide the final EPC to Building Control.

Predicted Energy Assessments
Everyone at The National EPC Company is passionate about working to reduce energy wastage and CO2 emissions in the UK. But we also understand the implications regulations have on the building process. That's why we've worked hard to become the most efficient provider of new build EPCs to help you obtain the necessary certifications for your property, without delays to the build program.
For every new home built there are two EPC requirements. Firstly, an EPC needs to be submitted to the Building Control Officer in order for the final completion certificate to be signed off. Secondly, the EPC is required to be shown to prospective buyers or tenants.
Furthermore, any building work done to an existing home which creates or combines a separate dwelling which has heating and/or air conditioning, will also require an EPC to be compliant with Building Regulations, Approved Inspector Regulations and the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations.
